August 22, 2020 - Top-5 finish in Billy Vacek Memorial at Lincoln Speedway
1 Following the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series on an eastern swing, Cade Dillard was one of 38 Late Models on hand at Lincoln Speedway (Abbottstown, Pa.) on Thursday evening for the Billy Vacek and Huey Wilcoxon Memorial. Losing one spot in his heat race to finish second behind Darrell Lanigan, Cade earned the sixth-starting position for the $12,000-to-win A-Main via the redraw. 1The following night at Williams Grove Speedway (Mechanicsburg, Pa.), Dillard laid down the fourth fastest time in his group before picking up an 8-lap heat race victory. Receiving the pole position for the A-Main via the redraw, Cade suffered nosepiece damage while battling for a Top-5 finish that dropped him back to a 12th place outing.

On Saturday evening at Eriez Speedway (Eerie, Pa.) for the third round of the tripleheader weekend, Cade scored a third place finish in his heat, which positioned him 12th on the starting grid for the feature. Coming one spot shy of a Top-5 finish, Dillard marched forward six spots to finish sixth.

August 8, 2020 - Podium finish in World of Outlaws stop at Beaver Dam, up to third in World of Outlaws point standings
1 On Tuesday night Cade Dillard picked back up with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series at Beaver Dam Raceway (Beaver Dam, Wis.). Drawing 31 cars, Dillard followed up the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group with a 10-lap heat race victory. Drawing the second-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Cade led the first 11 circuits before surrendering the top spot to Jimmy Owens. Hanging on to a podium finish in the remaining distance, Dillard notched at third place spot behind Owens and Billy Moyer with Brian Shirley and Kyle Bronson rounding out the Top-5. 1After a scheduled off day on Wednesday, Dillard followed the World of Outlaws to Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wis.) on Thursday evening to kick off the 33rd annual USA Nationals weekend. Coming in second in his heat behind Billy Moyer, Cade earned the eighth-starting position for the preliminary feature. With $6,000 on the line, Dillard jumped up two spots in the 30-lapper to register a sixth place finish.

With the Top 16 in passing points getting locked into the $50,000-to-win USA Nationals on Saturday evening, Dillard earned the 16th-starting position for the finale. Gaining five spots in the 100-lap affair, Cade recorded a 11th place finish.

August 2, 2020 - Mother Nature postpones Hoosier Dirt Shootout finale
1 Making their second appearance of the season, Cade Dillard returned with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Tuesday evening to compete on the quarter-mile oval. Starting the night off with a heat race victory over Ashton Winger, Dillard earned the pole position for the A-Main via the redraw. Blasting into the lead on the drop of the green flag, Cade led the first 19 circuits until Brandon Sheppard snuck by. Regaining the top spot on lap 36, the pair began swapping back-and-forth for the lead the next 10 circuits. With Sheppard wrestling it away on lap 46 with four laps remaining, Cade Dillard hung on to a runner-up finish behind Sheppard with Jimmy Owens, Jimmy Mars, and Chris Simpson completing the Top-5 finishers. 1Friday night saw Dillard return to action with the World of Outlaws at Kokomo Speedway (Kokomo, Ind.) for the two-day Hoosier Dirt Shootout. Drawing 32 cars for the event in place of the Prairie Dirt Classic, Cade posted the sixth fastest time in his qualifying group, which positioned him sixth on the starting grid for the his 25-lap preliminary feature. With $2,500 on the line, Dillard charged forward three spots to place third behind Jimmy Owens and Shane Clanton with Jason Feger and Kyle Bronson rounding out the Top-5.

With his third-place finish on Friday locking him into the redraw, Dillard pulled the fourth-starting position for the $25,000-to-win Hoosier Dirt Shootout. After Mother Nature postponed Saturday night's finale to Sunday afternoon, continued rain overnight and on Sunday morning forced race officials to postpone the finale to a date to be named.
