Dillard Lands Fourth Place Finish in Davenport Finale

Cade Dillard followed the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series to Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Friday afternoon for the doubleheader at the facility that features a quarter-mile oval inside of the half-mile oval. Gaining two spots in his heat race, Dillard posted a second place finish behind Bobby Pierce. On Saturday afternoon as the program shifted to the half-mile, Cade followed up a fifth place finish in his heat with a runner-up spot in his B-Main behind Ricky Thornton Jr. With $10,000 on the line in the feature, Dillard advanced through the field 15 spots to register a fourth place finish behind Brandon Sheppard, Jimmy Mars, and Chris Madden with Frank Heckenast Jr. coming in fifth.

Cade remains in sixth in the latest World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series point standings.
