Dillard scores ninth-place finish in Peach State Classic

On Friday night, Cade Dillard trekked to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) to take part in the inaugural Peach State Classic. Drawing a stout field of 63 Late Models for the two-day event, Cade edged his way into the preliminary feature with the third-and-final transfer spot in his heat. The following night, Dillard missed a transfer spot by one position in his heat, relegating him into the B-Main. Streaking to a 12-lap consolation victory, Cade locked into the 19th-starting position for the $52,052-to-win Peach State Classic. Wheeling his way into the Top-10, Dillard passed 10 cars in the 75-lapper to finish ninth.
