Pair of sixth-place finishes with World of Outlaws at Davenport

Cade Dillard returned with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series on Thursday afternoon at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) for the three-day Quad Cities 150 presented by Hoker Trucking. In a field of 38 cars, Dillard secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature with a heat race win. Losing three spots in the 40-lap affair, Cade recorded a sixth-place finish. On Friday, Cade clocked in third fastest in his group before placing second in his heat. Clawing forward one spot in the main event, Dillard notched a sixth-place finish.

For the finale on Saturday, Dillard edged his way into the $30,000-to-win Quad Cities 150 with a 10-lap consolation victory. Starting in 17th, Cade was an early retiree from the 70-lapper after bringing out a caution on lap 37.
